Voice Control Devices have become popular nowadays, which is why DISH is always dedicated to bringing its users the opportunity to incorporate this feature into their homes. Niraj Desai, DISH vice president of product management, said in a statement. “With Hopper integrated with Josh.ai, we’re able to provide a new integrated voice control experience for our customers”.
What is josh.ai?
Josh is a voice-controlled home automation system.

This integration enables Hopper DVR owners to control the satellite TV service throughout the home using natural language voice commands to navigate the program guide, select channels by number or name, access recording features, and play/pause or fast-forward/rewind selected content, among other things.
After connecting to the network, Josh.ai auto-populates supported Dish set-top-boxes — including Hopper DVRs (all generations), Wally mobile receivers, and Joey TV receivers (all models) — and provides authorization and set-up instructions to the installer.
