DIRECTV error code: 203

 

The following message will appear on your TV screen ” See directv.com/ext203 or call 800-531-5000, ext. 203.” due to a past due payment indicating that your services have been reduced to a minimum level.

To restore your service you just need to make a payment and usually, your service will be restored in minutes. However, it might take up to 2 hours.

If your service is not restored within two hours of making a payment, try the following:

 

1. Restart your receiver

To restart your receiver, unplug your receiver’s power cord from the electrical outlet, wait 15 seconds, and plug it back in.

then, press the Power button on the front panel of your receiver. Wait for your receiver to reboot.

 

2. Refresh your receiver online

  1. Go to Account overview > My DIRECTV > Manage my plan.
  2. Select Manage receivers.
  3. Select Refresh service.
  4. Wait 5 minutes
