DIRECTV APP

Download your DIRECTV app and take your favorite shows with you. This service is included with your DIRECTV subscription, it allows you to watch Live Tv and record shows. Enjoy the latest movies and shows anywhere you go. 

• You can watch data free TV on your portable device if your cell phone is with AT&T (Postpaid data service) and you have a data plan active. If you have another cell phone carrier, streaming will be using your monthly cellphone’s data plan.
• You can download your home DVR recordings to your mobile devices. Watch them after and no internet connection is required. 
• You can easily send to your  TV the shows you’re watching on your cell phone and vice-versa. 
• Record your favorite movies and shows through your DIRECTV App.

DIRECTV App allows you to have control of your TV, you can pause, play, and rewind using your fingertips. As we know your children are important to you, you can restrict what they watch setting parental controls up. 

APP REQUIREMENTS

• Android Tablet (Running OS 4.2 or later) 
• Android Phone (Running OS 4.2 or later) 
• iPhone^® (Running iOS 8.0 or later)
• iPad^® (Running iOS 8.0 or later)
• You must have a residential home account registered on DIRECTV’S website to access the app. 
• You need a Wi-Fi or Data plan connection on your mobile device.
• The shows and movies available on your app depend on the package you have. 
• Live TV Streaming in-home only channels and remote control requires a Wi-Fi connection and DIRECTV Plus HD DVR. Compatible Receivers: (Models R22, and HR20 or higher). The remote control also works with HD receivers (h21, h23 or higher). 
• DVR streaming and downloading require a Genie HD DVR model HR44 or higher and compatible with the mobile device. To download both devices  (Receiver and mobile device) must be connected to the same Internet connection.
